Introduction
The Laboratório de Engenharia e Controle Ambiental - LENCA (Laboratory of Engineering and Environmental Control) was founded in 2012 and it is located at the Instituto de Ciências Ambientais, Químicas e Farmacêuticas (ICAQF) at the Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP), in Diadema - São Paulo - Brazil. LENCA has as purpose to promote the dissemination of the scientific and technological knowledge in materials science, industrial wastewater treatments, in addition to contributing to the improvement of the quality of products and processes developed by industries.
